Victory of Erdogan 

The President Recep Tayyip Erdogan won the snap presidential election with more than 52% of the vote, ahead of Muharrem Ince, the principal opposition candidate of CHP. The supporters celebrate Erdogan’s victory in the AKP headquarters in Istanbul. The AKP also won the majority in the parliamentary election with MHP party. 

HDP in Parliament

One of the biggest stake of the HDP (pro-kurdish party) was to overcome the 10 % legislative election threshold to become the third largest party in Turkey and enter the Parliament.
HDP won 11.62 % of the votes and will be now represented by 67 deputies in Parliament.
A victory celebrated in front of the HDP headquarters in Tarlabaşı on the 24th evening. 

Erdogan and Muharrem Ince meetings

Muharrem Ince is the Presidential candidate of Turkey's main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP). On June 23th, more than 2 millions people gathered for his last rally in Istanbul. In total, he held 107 rallies in 65 different cities in 51 days. Muharrem Ince is seen as the principal rival of the current President Recep Tayyip Erdogan who also held a mass rally in Istanbul on June 17th.
